It is an excellent location for exploring the pretty villages and waterways of the Norfolk Broads. The sandy beaches of the East Coast are also nearby, with the cathedral city of Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth within easy driving distance. The village has one of the country's few chain ferries which take you from one side of the river to the other making the Suffolk Heritage Coast easily accessible. The village has shops and a variety of pubs, with further facilities available in the market town of Acle. This is the owner's much loved second home, and the accommodation is unique and full of character with the individual rustic nature of the building being preserved. The Mill has an unusual glass frontage on the first floor which offers wonderful views across the river and the marshes which are a haven for wildlife and birds.
