The beaches at Heacham, Holme, Holkham and Wells harbour are all nearby and there are also many bird reserves in the area. The village has a large general store, a pub, and a fish and chip shop . There is also a large playing field with a tennis court.

The Mission Hall is a detached property, which is an ideal hideaway for two people. It has been imaginatively converted, and the character features include exposed beams, a large inglenook fireplace and wooden floors throughout the living area. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub:1 mile
