Accommodation overview: Rosehill Cottage is perfectly situated within the small picturesque village of St Breward, and is nestled away with a large garden and views across the valley. The property which is full of character features and dates back to the 18th century but was recently renovated to provide a wonderful home for a family or couples alike. Rosehill Cottage is a tranquil retreat for guests wishing to escape from it all, yet provides easy access to many magnificent beaches on the North Cornish Coast, as well as the popular fishing towns of Padstow and Port Isaac which is famously known for the Doc Martin series.
With parking for 3 cars outside the property, Rosehill Cottage is accessed via a few small steps and leads straight into a traditional dining room with wood burning stove and original tiled flooring. To one side, a doorway leads into a cosy lounge which provides an open fireplace, television and views across the garden. Straight through from the dining room, a well-equipped galley style kitchen is to the left which also provides a stable door with access straight back into the garden. On the other side of the hallway, the sole bathroom with shower over, WC, basin and traditional tiled flooring is based on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen and sits at the bottom of the wooden staircase that leads up to the first floor landing.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms both with standard sized double beds, plus two additional spacious single bedrooms which sit either side of the upstairs landing. To the front of the property there is a large stone driveway which can park up to three cars. The generous sized garden with garden furniture provides views across the valley.
The moorland village of St Breward is the highest and largest on Bodmin Moor. The village provides its own Post Office, village store and The Old Inn pub with restaurant (dating back to the 11th century). The Camel Trail is also very popular with cyclists and easily accessible from the property. A 10 mile drive will take you to the popular fishing villages on the north coast such as Trebarwith, Port Isaac and Polzeath and the larger towns of Bodmin, Wadebridge and Camelford are all within a 10 mile radius.

Accommodation overview: A semi detached granite cottage of considerable character, 2 miles from Lamorna Cove, a few minutes drive from the famous open air Minack cliff theatre and only a hundred yards from the historic church, village pub and the two general stores that comprise the nucleus of the little village of St Buryan.
The front entrance is through a tiny walled patio garden with flowering shrubs. From here the front door opens through a conservatory with an inner door into a long low beamed sitting / dining room with exposed granite walls, small windows, an Inglenook fireplace. There is a neat kitchen area also with low beams. At the rear of the cottage an entrance / cloaks hall has an adjacent bathroom / W.C. with shower over the bath.
Stairs go up directly from the sitting area to two bedrooms, one open to the landing, each with a double bed, one being king size. The limited space makes it unsuitable for children under 8 and large dogs. Parking on the road outside is unrestricted. Lands End is 5.5 miles.

Accommodation overview: Approached by a private lane, Broad Downs Farm was originally a traditional mixed Devon farmstead consisting of farm house, stables, stone barn and piggery. Set in a secluded location, surrounded by 22 acres of sheep pasture and meadow, with a small woodland area, natural pond and springs, the property includes large gardens and an outdoor swimming pool (shared with Broad Downs Barn). The farmhouse has been extensively renovated and updated by its present owners to create a large spacious property which can cater for extended holiday groups. Accommodation overview: At one end of a row of fisherman's cottages built with their backs to the coastal approach road to Portmellon, Corner Cottage is right by the sea, the sound and sight of it fills the windows. A long low walled patio serves both this cottage and the one next door.
There are steps down onto the rocks, where visitors can fish at high tide, or onto the sand at low tide. Comfortably furnished for holiday accommodation, the cottage retains much of the simplicity of a genuine Cornish cottage, with an entrance from the road leading into a small hallway with an adjacent bathroom / W.C. and basin. A long beamed sitting room takes up the full width of the cottage.
On the floor above are three bedrooms, a double with vanity basin, one with twin beds, the third with bunks. Beneath the sitting room is a kitchen / dining room and a utility entrance hall, shower and a W.C. with hand basin. The back door opens to the patio, also reached by gated steps, down from the road. Small children will require supervision both inside and out.
Free use of an all year indoor swimming pool is available at Bodrugan Farm, half a mile. Free parking for 2 cars is available in a private yard about 200 yards away. Portmellon has safe bathing and a seasonal pub. Mevagissey, its more famous neighbour, is about half a mile along the coast.

Accommodation overview: Just half a mile from the stunning South West Coastal Path and the secluded beach at Lansallos Cove, this 200 year old, double-fronted traditional cottage is set in the tiny churchtown of Lansallos, to the east of the Fowey River. Reached by quiet narrow lanes, a gravel driveway offers parking for a car and boat trailer.
A garden path leads to the entrance porch with a quarry tiled floor and inner door to the front hallway. The ground floor accommodation consists of a warm and cosy sitting room with comfortable seating and an electric real flame fire, and a country pine fitted kitchen with a matching dining suite.
A carpeted staircase leads up from the hall and divides at the top; on one side is a double bedroom and on the opposite side is a twin bedded room and a bathroom W.C. with wash basin and shower over the bath. Both cottage-style bedrooms have hand basins and views of the surrounding unspoilt countryside with an oblique glimpse of the sea.
At the front of the property is a patio area with a couple of steps leading up to a small sloping grassy garden; children will require supervision as there is an unguarded drop down to the lane. The owners live in a small single storey extension to one side of the original cottage.
The picturesque harbour at Polperro is 2 miles by road where there are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and the larger resort of Looe, 6 miles away, has a wider choice of amenities and a sandy beach. Polruan and Bodinnick are about 4.5 miles respectively and each have a quaint old pub and a ferry operating to Fowey. The attractive beach at Lansallos is about a 20 minute walk down a fairly steep path which leads through the woods and fields high above the sea.
There are excellent walks leading out to Pencarrow Head where there are fine views across Lantic and Lantivet Bays; Polruan to the west and Polperro to the east are 3 miles respectively via the Coastal Footpath. There are also a wealth of boat trips available locally both up river and out to sea. The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and Bodmin Moor are all within easy driving distance.

The front door opens directly into a beamed open-plan living room which occupies the whole of the ground floor, with a neatly fitted kitchen area, pine dining suite and lounge seating arranged before a hearth formed from an original mill stone with a coal effect electric fire.
A carpeted staircase leads directly up from the lounge to a small first floor landing where there are a fully tiled bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and two cottage style bedrooms with a double and twin beds respectively. Both bedrooms have glimpses of the sea in the distance.
Outside, there is a sheltered picnic area with slate chippings and a lawned area for the sole use of this property in addition to the sizeable shared grassy garden where children can play freely away from any farm traffic.
