The attractive Broads village of Reedham lies on the banks of the River Yare. It is an excellent location for exploring the pretty villages and waterways of the Norfolk Broads. The sandy beaches of the East Coast are also nearby, with the cathedral city of Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth within easy driving distance. The village has one of the country's few chain ferries which take you from one side of the river to the other making the Suffolk Heritage Coast easily accessible. The village has shops and a variety of pubs, with further facilities available in the market town of Acle.

This is the owner's much loved second home, and the accommodation is unique and full of character with the individual rustic nature of the building being preserved. The Mill has an unusual glass frontage on the first floor which offers wonderful views across the river and the marshes which are a haven for wildlife and birds. With a public footpath on the doorstep, the walk into the village is relaxing, or you could head east and pick up National Cycle Route 5 taking you into some of the area's delightful Broadland villages. Extras: Towel hire available at £6 per person per week, payable on booking.

Frettenham is a quiet, rural village situated just on the edge of the Broads. It is a great base for exploring the many attractions of the area. Wroxham, the heart of the broads is just a short distance away and from here you can hire a day boat and explore the inlets and rivers inaccessible on foot. Bewilderwood is a super, fun attraction nearby for children. The coast at Sea Palling and Eccles Beach offers wide, sandy beaches and is within about twenty miles. Take the train from Wroxham and enjoy the diverse shopping, historic and cultural attractions in the fine city of Norwich. Coltishall, which is just two miles away, is a perfect place to observe the boating whilst enjoying a meal or drink at the riverside restaurants and pubs.
