The Bittern and national rail line are accessible from the village and from here you can access Norwich, Sheringham and Cromer and enjoy the opportunity of leaving the car behind. The village has excellent eating places as well as a cafe, butchers, greengrocers, newsagents, a small super market and is also close to The Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary.
