Accommodation overview: A pretty 17th century detached cottage full of charm and character, the old forge was once part of the Earl of Wharncliffe's estate and is set beside a narrow road in the ancient borough of Bossiney, just half a mile from Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur and a 10 minute walk from Bossiney Cove.
Sympathetically furnished to compliment many original features, the cottage has slight changes of level and is entered from the road by a few steps leading up to the front porch and an inner glazed door opens directly into a light and sunny sitting room with an electric living flame fire in the stone fireplace, warm and comfortably furnished.
An inner hallway leads to a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and an attractive double bedroom, with a 5ft bed and deep window seat looking across to the methodist chapel and Bossiney Mound, famed for where Sir Francis Drake was proclaimed MP.
A pleasant dining room, with oil fired Rayburn for background heat in the colder months, still has the original ledge and brace door leading out to an extension at the rear with a bright and spacious modern fitted kitchen with a double oven and a window overlooking the sheltered garden. The back door opens from here to a pretty little cottage garden with mature shrubs and 3 steps leading up to the lawn area surrounded by a cornish stone and hedge border.
Parking for one car is available on the sloping drive at one end of the property. The nearest beach is Bossiney Cove which has fine sand at low tide reached by a 10 minute walk down a fairly steep incline. The famous ruins of Tintagel castle and Merlins sea cave below are approximately 1 and a half miles. King Arthurs Great Halls / Information Centre and a good selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants are within one mile. The attractive NT harbour at Boscastle is 3 miles and the coastal footpath is very close by leading to the dramatic Rocky Valley. St Nectans Glen is approximately 1 mile.

Accommodation overview: A comfortable semi detached period cottage located within the small hamlet of Barkla Shop only a 5 minute drive from the sandy beach at Trevaunance Cove. Set to one side of the main coast road between St Agnes and Perranporth on the dramatic North Cornish coastline, just 1 mile east of St Agnes and 3 miles from the popular holiday resort of Perranporth.
This recently extended early 19th century double glazed cottage retains much of the original style and romance of those times along with the modern amenities of present day. Entered from the open gravel driveway where there is parking for 2 cars, five steps lead up through a little hedged and gated garden to the front door which opens directly into a spacious living room with a low beamed ceiling, some exposed stonework and comfortable lounge seating.
To one side of the lounge, two shallow steps lead down to a newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room with dining table and chairs and a half glazed door opens to the garden and parking area which can be seen from the kitchen windows. In one corner of the lounge, carpeted stairs wind up to the first floor landing where there are three attractive bedrooms and a family bathroom W.C. with wash basin and bath with hand shower attachment.
The master bedroom has a 5ft double bed with countryside views from dual aspect windows and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin, there is a twin bedded room and the third smaller bedroom has a single bed set beneath a sloping ceiling with restricted headroom. There are wall mounted thermostatically controlled electric radiators in every room.
There is a small lawned area to the side of the property overlooking the neighbouring fields - children and pets must be supervised at all times as the garden is not enclosed, and there is a garden shed with recycling facilities. The nearby village of Mithian, half a mile, has a traditional 16th century pub and there is a good selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants in the picturesque village of St Agnes 1 mile away.
Trevaunance Cove is the nearest sandy beach popular with surfers which is 1.5 miles by road or can be reached by footpath across fields, the NT beach of Chapel Porth is 2.5 miles and there is a wide range of activities and a three mile stretch of golden sand in Perranporth a 10 minute drive. There are dramatic coastal walks nearby and this is an ideal central location for touring the rest of Cornwall.

Set to one side of the owners house nestling in the rural hamlet of Creegbrawse, this spacious detached cottage has been finished to a high standard, double glazed and centrally heated providing warm and cosy accommodation all year round.
Entered from the driveway where there is space for one car, a gravel path and two steps lead up to the front door, which opens to a hallway with a marble tiled floor that continues throughout the property. To one side, a door opens to a light and airy living room with countryside views from two sets of French Windows, comfortable lounge seating, a dining suite and a smartly fitted kitchen area in one corner.
To complete the accommodation, leading off the entrance hall are a shower room W.C. with hand basin and an adjacent bright double bedroom. From both the sitting and dining areas, patio doors and three steps lead down to a south facing enclosed wooden sun deck with lovely far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. You can’t fail to notice that the railed sun deck is also home to one of Jack’s Cows; a unique multi-coloured life-size cow sculpture part of a herd that were auctioned to raise money for local charities. The owner can provide storage space for bicycles and beach gear.
The village of Chacewater, 1 mile, has a choice of three traditional pubs and a small selection of shops and for a wider selection of amenities, the cathedral city of Truro is 6 miles. The nearest beaches on the north coast are Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and Portreath all 6 miles away and the famous resorts of Newquay and St Ives are just a 30 minute drive respectively.
The maritime town of Falmouth has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants plus a choice of sandy beaches approximately 9 miles away and there are watersports centres at both Stithians Lake and Mylor Harbour. There is a golf course and riding stables close by and the Cornish Way Coast to Coast Cycle Trail is nearby with bicycle hire available from Bissoe Tramways.

Set in their own grounds at the head of a stunning rural valley, the properties boast lovely views from the garden across farmland. Whilst the cottages are available individually, they may also suit two families looking for adjacent accommodation sleeping up to eight in total. The cottages are in a wonderful setting of outstanding natural beauty overlooking farmland, and just 1 1/2 miles from the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe, with its spectacular coastline and fine sandy beaches. The village of Malborough - with two pubs, post office/village stores and garage - is only third of a mile away. Salcombe and Malborough can now be reached via a newly constructed cycle/walk path accessed from the top of the drive.All guests have access to the outdoor solar heated swimming pool (usually available from late May to the end of September) and are welcome to meet the resident herd of Shetland ponies!

The front door opens into a stylish modern property, which is open plan and provides a well-equipped fitted Kitchen with Dining area, adjacent to which is the large and spacious Living area with cream and brown leather settees.
From the Living area, a hallway leads to two attractive ground floor bedrooms. To the left is a spacious 5ft double room with ensuite wet room with shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. To the right is a Twin room with 3ft single beds, an ensuite shower room, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. A further spacious double bedroom is situated just off from the Living area with ensuite bathroom with shower over, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. A door from this bedroom also leads outside to the gravelled parking area.
To the side of the property, is an attractive sheltered decked patio area, private to Jubilee Cottage and its perfect for alfresco dining. There is ample parking for 2 cars within the private parking area, and this leads onto a quiet road leading out of the village of St Breward towards to Moor.
The pretty moorland village of St Breward is the highest and largest on Bodmin Moor and its situated just one mile from Jubilee Cottage. The village provides its own Post Office, village store and The Old Inn pub with restaurant (dating back to the 11th century). The property itself is surrounded by the moorland, which is a haven for walkers and horse riders of all abilities.
The Camel Trail is also very popular with cyclists and easily accessible from the property. A 9 mile drive will take you to the spectacular beaches and fishing villages on the north coast such as Trebarwith, Port Isaac and Polzeath and the larger towns of Bodmin, Wadebridge and Camelford are all within a 10 mile radius.

Accommodation overview: Set in a large mature garden within a couple of minutes walk down hill to the beach at Gorran Haven and with glimpses of the sea across cottage rooftops this spacious accommodation is in the major part of an attractive extended cottage of great character.
Approached from a gated parking area by a path and short flight of steps down through the sloping lawned garden edged by a trickling stream at one side. The glazed front door opens into a hall with coat pegs to one side. A step down leads into a wide sitting / dining room with a low beamed ceiling with views down over the village to the sea and a door to a railed terrace. A step up from the sitting room leads to a well fitted kitchen / breakfast room with a vinyl cushion floor and pine units.
Stairs go directly up from the sitting room to a landing on two levels, a bathroom / w.c. with hand basin and separate shower cubicle and to three bedrooms. These have a double bed, a 4ft double bed and a double and alternative single respectively.
The beach, pub and small shops are all within a few minutes walk. One pet is welcome but the garden is not totally secure for pets and toddlers will require supervision.

Accommodation overview: With magnificent coastal views of the sea across Cawsand Bay to Plymouth Sound, this recently renovated and extended cottage is set on the South West coastal footpath that leads through the heart of the small unspoilt village of Cawsand. The fairly sheltered cove has a sandy beach just 10 yards away, with a summer ferry running directly across to the Mayflower steps on the Barbican, a half hour journey.
The front door opens to a small lobby with coat pegs and a part glazed inner door leads into a hallway with a cloakroom W.C. and tiny basin and to one side a door opens to a delightful, light and airy sitting room with some original stonework retained from the former boathouse and a comfortable leather suite arranged before a large picture window with fine views of the beach, sea and rock pools below.
A wide archway leads to the pleasant dining area with a rustic table, chairs and settle style bench seats and at the rear a door opens to a recent extension and a well equipped, smart fitted kitchen with an internal window into the lounge which shares the lovely sea views. There is a back door to a small service yard at the rear.
Carpeted stairs wind up from the hall to the first floor where there are two attractive bedrooms; a double bedroom with a four poster bed, stunning views of the coastline and an en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin and the second bedroom at the rear with a 5ft double, french windows opening to a sheltered sun terrace with metal railings and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin and laundry facilities. The winding carpeted staircase continues up to the second floor and a pretty twin bedded room with a small sitting area set beneath huge skylight windows with breathtaking views towards the sea and cliffs and an en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin.
It is possible to unload outside the property and parking is in the village car park less than 5 minutes walk away. Cawsand has a pub, hotel and beach bar close by and water sports facilities are available on the beach during the summer months.
