Accommodation overview: Less than a mile from the South West Coast Path and the dramatic headland at Cape Cornwall, this mid nineteenth century end of terrace granite cottage is ideally situated for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and surfers, tucked away in a quiet terrace on the outskirts of St Just.
Offering warm and cosy accommodation all year round, the property is entered through a fenced and gated garden with the front door opening directly into a traditionally furnished living room with a board and beam ceiling and white washed stonewalls. There is lounge seating on one side facing the open fire, and a dining suite on the opposite side with some of the original wall niches, both with windows overlooking the front lawn, and an open doorway at the rear of the cottage leads to a newly fitted kitchen.
A rather steep cottage staircase leads up from the living room to the first floor landing where there are a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three bedrooms. There is a double bedroom and single bedroom at the front with sea views on the horizon and in an extension at the rear, a couple of steps lead up to the third narrow bedroom with a single bed and a window overlooking the village cricket ground. There are electric convector heaters in all bedrooms.
The front garden is fully enclosed with a level lawn and mature shrubs, and there is off street parking for two cars. St Just has a good selection of small shops, pubs and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and the village is on a bus route to Penzance which has a wider range of amenities, a railway station and ferry services to the Isles of Scilly.
Cape Cornwall Country Club, half a mile away, has an 18-hole golf course, restaurant and swimming pool. From the cottage, several footpaths lead across farmland and NT moorland down to the coast via the beautiful wooded Kenidjack Valley and the birdwatchers paradise of Cot Valley. Dogs are currently allowed on the small pebble beaches at Cape Cornwall, ¾ mile, and Cot Valley, 1.5 miles, and the sandy surfing beach at Sennen is only 5 miles by road. The property is arranged on one floor and one step leads up to the paved patio where you access the property through the large French windows. The entrance is straight into a cosy but well furnished and equipped lounge/kitchen/ diner. On the lounge side, the property offers comfortable seating with electric living flame fire and flat screen TV and a fully fitted kitchen/ diner on the other side.
Off the main lounge area, an inner hallway leads to the bedrooms which consist of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC and one twin bedroom. An additional doorway leads to a separate bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.
Back in the main living room, the large French windows provide access onto a paved patio with picnic table and rural views. Pets must be supervised as the terrace is not enclosed. Edhen provides parking for one car adjacent to the property with additional parking on site.

Accommodation overview: A spacious, cosy and very comfortable semi-detached cottage with sea views from the garden out to the Longships Lighthouse in the ancient farming hamlet of Escalls. Converted from single storey granite barns on two sides of a courtyard and set on the cliffs above Whitesand Bay and Sennen Cove, it is within walking distance, by footpath, of magnificent sandy beaches.
The cottage is approached by a farm lane and entered from the outer side by way of a landscaped garden and parking space for two cars. The front door leads into a small entrance lobby with coat pegs and then into an open-plan light and airy living room with newly fitted kitchen units, comfortable seating next to a gas woodburner effect stove and French doors to a patio and walled grassy garden on the seaward side.
There is a shower room W.C. with hand basin and two pleasantly furnished bedrooms which have a 5ft double and twin beds respectively. The village amenities of Sennen and Sennen Cove are about five minutes drive and for the more energetic the Blue Flag beach at Whitesands is a fifteen minute walk down the hill by cliff path.

Accommodation overview: A wonderful 17th Century character cottage, formerly a water millhouse, just yards from Millook beach, where sheer cliffs tower above the pebbled beach and small rock pools are revealed at low tide.
Set in a large grassy paddock with a stream running parallel to it, the front door opens into an entrance lobby with an adjacent simple kitchen and pantry area, and in one corner a 4 step ladder leads up to a cabin style children's bedroom with a little window overlooking the 38 ft mill wheel. Two steps up from the kitchen lead to a traditionally furnished cosy beamed living room with a large fireplace and remains of a cloam oven, simple white washed stone walls and a dining area with peaceful views over the garden.
To one side, a heavy carved door salvaged from a shipwreck in the 1800s leads to an additional smaller sitting room with comfortable seating and views of the sea. A bathroom W.C. with vanity basin and shower over bath can be reached via a few steps down from the living room, and an open tread irregularly shaped staircase leads directly up to the master attic bedroom with a 4ft 6inch double bed, a cross beamed ceiling, calming sea views and an extra single chair bed for alternative sleeping arrangements.
The renovated 3 ton mill wheel operates twice daily as an essential part of its preservation. The elderly or infirm may find the low curving beams, uneven floors and stairs a little difficult, and due to the proximity of the running water, toddlers will require supervision in the garden.
The nearest pub is 1.5 miles, and the spectacular sands of Widemouth Bay with a small grocery store are 2 miles away. Crackington Haven is about 5 miles and Bude 6 miles.
