Accommodation overview: This is a late 19th Century house that guests have found to be beautifully presented and welcoming, with lovely personal touches. The house suits two families or up to three couples equally well. Located just above the town centre, the house has stunning views across to Kingswear and out to sea from the top floor sitting room and balcony (new in 2010); from two of the bedrooms and the South facing garden. The house name comes from the former owners who were lead actors in The Onedin Line, the famous television drama series, filmed locally.

Accommodation overview: Less than a mile from the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, this cosy and comfortable traditional end of terrace cottage is set to one side of the coastal road in the small hamlet of Trewetha, double glazed, yet retaining much of its original charm and character. The quaint village of Port Isaac still has a little working harbour nestling in a narrow sheltered valley where there is a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants all just a 5 minute drive away.
Approached by a couple of steps and gated footpath that lead down to the front entrance porch with space for coats and boots. An inner glazed door opens directly into a charming dining room with a low beamed ceiling and wood burning stove and to one side a door leads through to a warm and cosy beamed sitting room with lounge seating arranged before the open fireplace.
At the rear, in an extension to the original cottage, a low doorway opens to a bright and cheerful kitchen and from here a door leads out to the generous sized country garden with a sheltered sun terrace and a couple of steps up to the lawn with a sandpit, swing and hedged border.
A narrow carpeted staircase with quite low headroom leads up from the dining room to the first floor landing where there are a bathroom with hand basin and shower over the bath, a separate cloakroom W.C., and two pretty cottage-style bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 5ft double bed overlooking the attractive rear garden and the second smaller bedroom has two pine single beds.
Young children and pets will requires supervision as there are slight changes in level in the cottage and the garden is only partially enclosed. There is off road parking for two cars on the driveway, and space for a boat trailer if required.
The small shingle beach at Port Gaverne is about a 5 minute drive and the glorious sandy beaches at Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock on the Camel Estuary are approximately 6 miles away. For a good choice of amenities the market town of Wadebridge is about a 15 minute drive where bicycles can be hired to explore the Camel Trail and the immediate area also offers fine coastal walking. There is a wide range of sports activities locally including fishing, surfing and sailing, three golf courses within easy reach and the Eden Project is about an hour’s drive.

Accommodation overview: A comfortable single storey barn adjoining Waddles. Similar in style and with great character it is entered from the parking area in front of the cottage by a side gate and path to the rear where there is a small fenced garden with patio area and grass.
A porch way with coat pegs leads into a dining room with a brick archway into a fully fitted kitchen. An open arch leads into a spacious sitting room, beamed with attractive features it looks out over the garden and has wide views of the countryside beyond.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double and a single bed the other with a king size double bed. A shower room W.C. and hand basin complete the accommodation.

Accommodation overview: Just five minutes drive from the Eden Project and the South West Coast Path at Charlestown, this newly refurbished quaint little cottage is set in the peaceful village of Tregrehan Mills opposite the local playing field with views to farmland beyond. Attached to the owners own granite house, the cottage is small but comfortable and benefits from double glazing and oil central heating, well situated and within easy reach by car of a number of attractive beaches and picturesque harbours.
The front door opens directly into a pleasantly light sitting/dining room with natural exposed stonework on one wall, a two seater settee, stove effect electric heater and small dining suite. At the rear, a glazed door leads into a bright, fully fitted kitchen with a door opening to a private and sheltered suntrap patio garden.
Carpeted stairs go up from the sitting room to a gallery bedroom with a double bed set under the sloping ceiling and views of the countryside. To complete the accommodation, there is an en-suite bathroom W.C. with wash basin, heated towel rail and hand shower fitment to the bath. The owner will provide a washing / drying service on request and there is off road parking for one car.
It is an easy walk to the Britannia Inn, half a mile, where they serve food and have a large pub garden, and there is a post office store in Bethel about one mile away. For a wider selection of amenities, St Austell, 2 miles, has a range of shops, pubs, supermarkets, a leisure centre and cinema. The Eden Project is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by car or alternatively there is a local bus service that operates from the village to the Eden Project, St Austell and Newquay.
The property is within a 10 minute drive of several beaches including Porthpean, Par Sands and Polkerris and there are various golf courses nearby, the nearest at Carlyon Bay, 2.5 miles. Lanhydrock House and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a 20 minute drive, as are the harbour villages of Charlestown, Fowey and Mevagissey. Accommodation overview: Within a 15 minute drive of the stunning beaches at Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Bude, this deceptively spacious detached barn conversion is set back from a country lane in the middle of a farming hamlet surrounded by fields and woodland.
Ideally situated to enjoy the delights of North Cornwall's beaches, coastal walks, seaside towns and beautiful scenery, Cottage Barn offers cosy and comfortable accommodation and retains much charm and character with exposed beams and stonework. Approached from the driveway where there is parking for 2 cars, the front door set beneath an open porch roof leads directly into an entrance hallway with a tiled floor and coat pegs.
On one side there is a ground floor twin bedroom with an additional single sofa bed, and on the opposite side of the hall is a shower room W.C. with hand basin and a wide shower cubicle. An inner door and three granite steps lead down to a long open-plan living room with a vaulted ceiling at one end. The dining area has a pine dining suite also with a single sofa bed, there is an adjacent well equipped fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar, and at the far end, one step continues down to a pleasant sitting room with comfortable seating overlooking beautiful countryside.
To one side, a low doorway opens to a lovely double glazed conservatory which has a wood burning stove, wicker furniture and French Windows leading out to the terrace and garden. In one corner of the lounge, a spiral staircase leads up to the large galleried master bedroom with a kingsize bed, a 3ft single bed with a pull out guest bed underneath, and an en-suite bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath. The additional beds are in place to offer greater flexibility with a variety of bed combinations.
The enclosed rear garden overlooks the surrounding farmland and has a small lawn, gravel terrace and lower paved patio so that you can follow the sun all day. The garden which borders on to fields containing livestock is fenced but not totally dog proof so please ensure your pets are kept under control at all times.
Wainhouse Corner, just over a mile away, has a pub offering food, garage, and P.O. store and the nearest beach is 4 miles away at Crackington Haven. The holiday resort of Bude has a leisure centre, shops, restaurants, tennis courts and watersport activities, and the picturesque harbour at Boscastle offers stunning coastal walks and scenery; both are approximately 8 miles respectively.
