The attractive village of Reedham lies on the banks of the River Yare. It is a good location for exploring the pretty villages and waterways of the Broads. The sandy beaches of the East Coast are also close by, with the cathedral city of Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth within easy driving distance. There is a chain ferry which can take you from one side of the river to the other and to the village shops and pubs.

Amidst wonderful scenery, standing in almost two acres of its own grounds, this converted windmill offers unique accommodation, well off the beaten track. It is in a secluded setting in lovely open marshland with superb views and frontage to the River Yare. The character accommodation, although quite small with restricted movement, is well presented and a perfect place to relax and unwind. Shop: 1.5 miles Pub/Restaurant: 400 yards by ferry

Norton Marsh Mill is not suitable for young children or the less able due to the narrow, steep stairs and the proximity to water. There are open doorways in the mill. The adjacent pump house is an operational unit and may be in use, depending on the rainfall, resulting in a slight humming noise.

The attractive Broads village of Reedham lies on the banks of the River Yare. It is an excellent location for exploring the pretty villages and waterways of the Norfolk Broads. The sandy beaches of the East Coast are also nearby, with the cathedral city of Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth within easy driving distance. The village has one of the country's few chain ferries which take you from one side of the river to the other making the Suffolk Heritage Coast easily accessible. The village has shops and a variety of pubs, with further facilities available in the market town of Acle.

This is the owner's much loved second home, and the accommodation is unique and full of character with the individual rustic nature of the building being preserved. The Mill has an unusual glass frontage on the first floor which offers wonderful views across the river and the marshes which are a haven for wildlife and birds. With a public footpath on the doorstep, the walk into the village is relaxing, or you could head east and pick up National Cycle Route 5 taking you into some of the area's delightful Broadland villages. Notes: Red Mill has steep stairs which may be unsuitable for the less mobile. Because of the proximity of water and the external staircase, which provides additional access, this property is not suitable for young children. Water is supplied via a bore hole. There is a short public footpath running across the rear garden - this is a continuation of the main riverside footpath.
