Accommodation overview: Situated on the mountainside high above Glenridding with a view to die for, this two-bedroom Lakeland stone cottage has an idyllic location. With fantastic walks from the doorstep, including the assent of Helvellyn, your car need never move all week. Glenridding itself is about 1/2 mile, with shops, cafes and pubs, the nearest pub being only 1/4 a mile. Accommodation overview: Taking its name from the rather steep area of woodland near where it sits, Breasty Haw is a wonderful example of a traditional, detached Lakeland cottage. The setting is idyllic as not only does Breasty Haw enjoy fine views across the valley but the house is situated in the middle of its own acre of mature woodland for guests to explore. With Grizedale Forest and ample walks and cycling routes right from the doorstep, Satterthwaite is an ideal base for an activity based holiday with the kids although the area also has some wonderful, gentle walks for those who prefer a quieter pace and some rest and relaxation.

Accommodation overview: Croft Cottage is located in the heart of Braithwaite village, which lies at the foot of Grisedale Pike and Whinlatter Pass. The cottage which dates back to 1868 was formerly a barn which has been converted into two dwellings and has been fully modernised and refurbished to the same high standard as the owners other properties, Millerdale and Kiln How in Threlkeld. The village boasts a shop, 2 pubs serving bar meals and a restaurant all within walking distance and all accept pets. Keswick is only 2 miles away where you will find an abundance of amenities and visitor attractions. You can walk from the door in Braithwaite and there are some of the best mountain bike tracks in Whinlatter forest. There are fell views from the bedroom windows. Outside the cottage is an unloading area, ample on street parking and a gravelled garden with seating area.

Accommodation overview: Yew Tree Farm is a truly stunning property steeped in history and with a wealth of character every guest is sure to appreciate. Modernised by the owner to the very highest specification with every conceivable modern day convenience, luxuriously furnished, and equipped to an excellent standard. The garden is a real feature of the house. Known as the Image Garden, it is laid out in Italianate style and is full of statues and sculptures created by a previous owner in the early 19th Century - the multitalented Thomas Bland, artist, poet, composer and scientist. Every year they held a garden party for up to 1400 people to celebrate the accession of Queen Victoria. The property can accommodate up to 15 people, ideal for large family gatherings or walking parties. Reagill is a delightful village situated in the unspoilt Eden Valley. This area is probably Cumbrias best-kept secret, with picture postcard villages and beautiful rolling countryside. It is ideal for walking and cycling and offers fishing on the Eden. Nearby attractions include Brougham Castle, Acorn Bank house and gardens, Rheged Discovery centre and Wetheriggs Pottery. Reagill is easily accessible from the M6 and just a stones throw from The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Scottish Borders. Accommodation overview: This 18th century cottage was newly refurbished in 2008 and further improved in 2010, yet retains its original charm and character, with beamed ceilings and feature stone walls. Windy Nook is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Pooley Bridge, on the north eastern edge of Ullswater, one of the Lake Districts most attractive lakes, at the point where the River Eamont and Ullswater meet. The 16th century bridge over the Eamont gives the village its name and offers beautiful views of the lake and the neighbouring fells. The village and the surrounding area are also of historical interest. Dunmallard Hill, adjacent to the village was the site of an Iron Age Fort and is one of a number of ancient sites dotted around the locality. The village has three good quality pubs which serve food together with tea rooms and a small number of shops providing essentials from groceries and out door equipment to souvenirs. The Ullswater steamers also depart from here providing trips along the seven mile lake to Howtown and Glenridding.
