The village has a splendid flint church, shops and pubs. There are excellent walks in the area including nearby How Hill. Norwich and Great Yarmouth are both 30 minutes drive away. Boat enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of one of the last remaining wherries as well as the Heritage Sailing Fleet based at Womack Staithe. Bakers Cottage is a charming Grade II listed building dating back to the 1800s. It has been renovated to provide modern facilities, whilst retaining its olde world charm, including driftwood beams that were found on the beach at Great Yarmouth. The tiny back door leads out on to the pretty south-facing decked area, the perfect place to relax after a day spent enjoying this beautiful part of Norfolk.
