The village is well placed for ornithologists with the excellent reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham. The Peddars Way trail offers excellent off-road cycling and walking opportunities and the historic port of King's Lynn is just ten miles away.

The Coach House is an early Victorian building, situated across the courtyard of the main house.
