The Tarka Trail can be accessed in less than 1 minute and is perfect for walkers, with some lovely riverside views, along the former railway line. Venture further afield and explore the many attractions North Devon has to offer including a range of surfing beaches, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, National Trust Arlington Court, The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island and much more. In the evenings relax in the pleasant enclosed garden or enjoy village hospitality in the local pub. Seasonally, take the passenger ferry across to the historic fishing village of Appledore which also offers a range of good pubs and restaurants.
