Being in the same location as our cottage Thatcher’s Leggett gives a perfect opportunity for extended families or friends to enjoy their own space while holidaying together. With a high vaulted ceiling giving a sense of space and light, the spacious comfortable open plan living room has a log burning stove for cosy evenings all through the year and a modern well equipped kitchen /dining area. An attractive twin bedroom and shower room is also on the ground floor. From the entrance hallway a solid wood staircase rises up to the mezzanine floor and a spacious double bedroom with separate dressing room and ensuite bathroom. This attractive galleried landing area, with far reaching views, is a lovely spot for relaxing in the comfy chairs to read a book or the morning papers, and a second TV is a useful bonus for families. A real treat is the large lawn to the side of the cottage, ideal for children to run and play, and the pretty front patio is just perfect for leisurely al fresco meals, barbecues or just relaxing at any time of day. Weez House is an ideal choice for surfers, and keen walkers will enjoy exploring the footpath leading almost from the doorstep to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. To holiday with friends we also have a cottage called Thatcher’s Leggett in the same location. Croyde offers everything you could need in a seaside village, a renowned surfing beach, character cottages and a great selection of pubs and restaurants. The gleaming kitchen features a huge dining table for convivial family meals, and full width fully glazed doors which lead out onto the decked patio can be opened up on balmy evenings to bring the outside in. The living room has lots of comfy seating and together with a sofa in the spacious dining kitchen and additional lounging area upstairs, there is plenty of space for family members to spread out and do their own thing. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented with crisp white linen and finishing flourishes. On the ground floor you will find a double with ensuite shower room and two twin rooms served by the modern family bathroom. Upstairs the owners have created a fabulous landing area with full width glazed doors opening onto a decked balcony and provided an additional TV and lounging area. Beachwalk offers a unique opportunity for parties of either six or ten to enjoy this fabulous holiday retreat.
