Accommodation overview: Nestling in the bottom of the lush Vale of Lanherne, two miles from the dramatic North Coastline, Chapel Cottage is one of two cottages on the site of the original Forge in the charming and picturesque village of St Mawgan.

A couple of steps rise above the road and from here the front door opens into a light and airy open-plan living room, warm and comfortably furnished with full double glazing, an attractive fitted kitchen area in one corner and a pine dining suite set before French Windows opening out to a tiny enclosed patio with a side access gate.

Carpeted stairs lead up to a landing, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and two pine furnished bedrooms each with an electric convector heater. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second smaller bedroom has two single beds, a 3ft and a 2ft 6in.

There is one reserved parking space per property immediately before the row of cottages and all the local amenities which include a village store, post office, tea room and pub are less than five minutes walk. Sheltering in the village is also the lovely Japanese Garden and Bonsai Nursery which is open all year round and the nearby beaches of Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay are close at hand.

The historic fishing port of Padstow is 8 miles and the holiday resort of Newquay is 6 miles away.

From the Living area, a hallway leads to two attractive ground floor bedrooms. To the left is a spacious 5ft double room with ensuite wet room with shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. A door from this bedroom also leads outside to the gravelled parking area.

To the side of the property, is an attractive sheltered decked patio area, private to Jubilee Cottage and its perfect for alfresco dining. There is ample parking for 2 cars within the private parking area, and this leads onto a quiet road leading out of the village of St Breward towards to Moor.

The pretty moorland village of St Breward is the highest and largest on Bodmin Moor and its situated just one mile from Jubilee Cottage. The village provides its own Post Office, village store and The Old Inn pub with restaurant (dating back to the 11th century). The property itself is surrounded by the moorland, which is a haven for walkers and horse riders of all abilities.

The Camel Trail is also very popular with cyclists and easily accessible from the property. A 9 mile drive will take you to the spectacular beaches and fishing villages on the north coast such as Trebarwith, Port Isaac and Polzeath and the larger towns of Bodmin, Wadebridge and Camelford are all within a 10 mile radius.

Accommodation overview: Little Cotton Farmhouse is set in 3 acres of land in a beautiful tranquil location at the end of a country lane yet just 5 minutes drive from the famous naval town of Dartmouth. The Farmhouse and adjoining Barn have each been sinsitively reconstructed in recent years to provide a very high standard of accommodation whilst retaining many of the traditional features and characteristics of the original buildings.In spite of the rural location Little Cotton is easily accessible and close to local facilities - the 'Park and Ride' bus service into Dartmouth, as well as the town's Leisure Centre and largest supermarkets (Sainsburys and Lidl) are within a short walking distance. Little Cotton is an ideal retreat for families with a range of facilities available to keep children of all ages entertained. There is a large grass area for ball games with small child friendly goal posts, a 12' trampoline (with safety enclosure) and an activity fort with swings, climbing frame and slide will keep them busy for hours! Additionally there is an indoor play area with a multi-activity table (tennis/snooker, football etc), many board games, a wide selection of toys for all ages, books and colouring and various outdoor games (balls etc). There is even a large tub of spare wellies, just in case! Wii Games Stations are provided in both properties making it ideal accommodation for any time of the year (Christmas decorations are also provided). Whilst each of these areas can be seen from both properties there is also a picnic bench - with picnic crockery provided - from where parents can sit and watch their children.From the courtyard an opening leads through to a natural meadow and pretty pond, with picnic benches to sit and enjoy the wildlife. All areas are fenced for safety but young children must be supervised at all times.

Accommodation overview: An 18th century traditional detached cottage, with sea glimpses from the garden, in the middle of the rural hamlet of Treligga. This cosy cottage retains many of its early features including some of the original slate flagstones on the floor and with white painted natural stone and cob walls.

Approached from a peaceful country lane, a gated path leads to the enclosed garden at the rear, where 3 granite steps lead up to a sheltered patio with sea views on the horizon over the Cornish hedge. Entered through a small porch with an inner door opening into a narrow L shaped kitchen with fitted units and a rustic dining area set beneath a wood panelled sloping ceiling.

A low doorway leads into the oldest part of the cottage and a small sitting room with a low board and beam ceiling, an oil fired stove which provides heating and hot water, and a sofa bed as a sleeping alternative.

Wooden stairs wind up in one corner of the room to a gallery bedroom with a 5ft bed, a cross beamed ceiling and slightly sloping natural floorboards. Beyond the bedroom is a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath, and views over the hamlet and surrounding countryside towards the sea. There is off road parking for one small car directly outside the front of the cottage.

The nearest shop and pub are at Delabole, about 2 miles away by road, but can also be reached by footpath across the fields. The attractive fishing village at Port Isaac and the sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary are within a 15 minute drive, and for a wider selection of amenities, the towns of Camelford and Wadebridge are about 20 minutes by car. Trebarwith Strand beach, 1.5 miles away on foot, and the dramatic North Coast cliff path and Tregardock beach can be reached via a walk across the fields.
