The village of St Teath is about 1 mile with a pub and shops, and the larger village of Camelford is about 3 miles. Within a few miles are the sandy surfing beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay and the dramatic scenery of Boscastle and Tintagel, with its mystical ruined castle. It is a short drive from Port Isaac, a pretty harbour village where the TV series Doc Martin is filmed. Close by is the market town of Wadebridge and the harbour town of Padstow with its array of shops, restaurants and bars, including Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant.
