This stylish and classic three-storey cottage has been refurbished to a good standard and has a contemporary feel. Italian limestone floors, neutral décor and antique furnishings make it a sheer delight. Newlyn Harbour and sea front are on the door step and the pretty harbour of Mousehole just 1½ miles. Shop 400 yards, pub 100 yards. Beamed living room with wood-burning stove. Well-equipped beamed kitchen/dining room with Italian limestone floor and gas Aga (for cooking). Sun room with French doors. Accommodation overview: With unforgettable, ever-changing harbour and bay views, this charming fisherman’s cottage nestles in the quiet lanes of Newlyn’s old artists’ colony which reflects in its collection of original local paintings and pottery. Nearby are the fishing port’s art galleries, pubs, restaurants, shops (especially for freshly caught fish) and beaches. Penzance (1 mile) is a pleasant walk along the seafront in one direction and Mousehole in the other. Visit Marazion and magical St Michael’s Mount rising from the sea like a fairytale castle. Ideally placed for St Ives, Lands End, Lamorna and the Minack Open Air Theatre cut into the rock face overlooking the sea. Shops 550 yards, pub 150 yards. Traditional beamed fitted kitchen with gas Aga and 2-ring ceramic hob. Dining area with harbour views from window seat.
