Accommodation overview: Beckside Cottage is one of a group of pretty fishermens cottages positioned several metres back from the slow flowing tidal beck, right on the harbour side in the charming seaside village of Staithes. The beck still provides mooring to several Cobles (local name for the regions fishing boats) in a web of ropes and buoys. It has uninterrupted sea views of the bay and out to sea and is surrounded by high craggy cliffs at the side and rear of the property. It has recently been fully renovated into a spacious, modern 3 bedroomed property. The majority of the accommodation is on the ground floor, with access to a neat enclosed garden and a spacious elevated decked patio with bench/tables, a barbecue and boasting simply the most spectacular views over the beach and out to sea. The first floor is accessed by a quirky "paddle" wooden staircase which is steeper than normal, and leads into an unusual bedroom with limited headroom in certain places - most suited to children and teenagers.Both the lounge and dining room enjoy bay windows complete with window seats enabling you to simply relax, unwind and breathe the fresh sea air.
