Thoughtfully furnished and equipped, it provides an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. Surrounded by NT land with breathtaking coastal and inland walks, Polruan is an unspoilt, picturesque village with two excellent inns and a small sandy beach. There are frequent ferries across the river to the historic town of Fowey with its annual regatta, Daphne du Maurier festival, shops and restaurants. Sailing and fishing trips available. Cross the harbour by the passenger ferry to the ancient town of Fowey, with its array of pubs, cosmopolitan restaurants and shops, together with its small sandy beach at Readymoney Cove, from where walks to St Catherine’s Castle and Gribbin Head can be enjoyed.
