Directly from the property there is a coastal path which takes you past "Mountbatten Beach", and "Jennycliff Beach" and beyond to "Bovisands", a trio of soft sand beaches with shop and restaurant. Water sports are available at the Mountbatten Centre or the Plymouth sailing school. Mount Batten is a small peninsular surrounded by Plymouth harbour and the River Plym.
