Set within the owner’s estate, amongst its own gardens and courtyard, it is the ideal holiday retreat in which to relax and unwind. Nearby attractions are Powis Castle, lakes Vyrnwy and Bala. The Ironbridge Gorge Museum, full of history, is a great day out for all the family. Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible from The Coach House, with its majestic mountains and cascading waterfalls. Walking, fishing, cycling, canoeing and white water rafting are all popular activities within this idyllic landscape. The Berwyn mountains are within easy reach, ideal for sailing and tennis, or leisurely pursuits on offer such as golf and fishing. This area is also a renowned mountain bike hot spot with a varied range of challenging routes for enthusiasts. Highly recommended days out Chester races or Bangor-on-Dee. Also view the countryside differently on nearby Welshpool’s steam train or travel lazily along the canal on the various barges. Interesting things for the children are ample and varied.
