The property is situated in an ideal position for touring the whole of this stunning peninsula, you are close to a quiet road providing access to the many delights the area has to offer. Should you fancy exploring and discovering the local sights, you can take the ferry ride which is close by to Plymouth with its historic Hoe, Barbican, cinemas, theatre, sports facilities, shops and restaurants. You will also be close to many of Cornwall's most popular attractions which are a pleasant drive and include Mount Edgecombe Park, The Eden Project, Launceston Steam Railway, Tamar Otter Park, Bodmin Moor and Gaol, Jamaica Inn and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. This 1930's chalet-style property is reached via 15 steps, and is ideal for couples and families as it offers all the essentials with TWO bedrooms; 1 compact double and 1 bunk. Shower room: with access from both bedrooms with WC. Kitchen/lounge/diner: offers TV with DVD, comfortable seating centred around the large window that takes in the far reaching views, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine on those long Cornish evenings. Kitchen is compact but equipped with traditional self-catering equipment, fridge, electric cooker and microwave. Outside: from the decking to the front of the property you can enjoy the views, with garden furniture and BBQ facilities. Amenities: off-road parking is available at the property but not guaranteed. Accommodation overview: FORMER FISHERMAN'S COTTAGE IN HEART OF VILLAGE This delightful terrace cottage nestles in the heart of the bustling village of Millbrook which is situated beside a lake on the Rame Peninsula. Just over the border into Cornwall, the popular sandy beach at Cawsand is just over a mile away and the area is also perfect for those requiring some lovely coastal and countryside walks. Stroll to Mount Edgecumbe Country House two miles away for a Cornish cream tea. There is much to see and do in the area with a choice of attractions being within a short drive including The Eden Project, Bodmin and Dartmoor, Dobwalls Theme Park, numerous National Trust properties, Looe and Polperro. The Torpoint Ferry takes you into the heart of Plymouth and is famed for its Hoe, Barbican and Marine Aquarium. An hour’s walk will take you to a passenger ferry for the more energetic. In the evenings, enjoy a meal in the excellent family pub 2 minutes walk away. The accommodation has been refurnished and equipped to a high standard and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 large double on the first floor. 1 further twin on the second floor approached via cottage style stairs. Shower room: on the ground floor with WC. Lounge/diner: feature room with wood burner, TV and DVD. Kitchen: equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Utility area: with washer/dryer.
