Accommodation overview: This 17th-century converted barn adjacent to the owner’s home lies in the quaint hamlet of Milborne Wick on the Somerset/Dorset border, 3 miles north of the historic town of Sherborne. It stands detached in grounds of approximately 1 acre and offers spacious accommodation, ideal for large family groups to unwind, relax and enjoy the wealth of countryside and many other attractions to be found in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Lovely country walks, village pubs, golf, horse racing at Wincanton and fishing are all nearby, and within easy driving distance there is a diversity of family attractions to visit, such as Longleat House and Safari Park, magnificent steam railways, the fascinating array of vintage motor cars at the Haynes Motor Museum, and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum with its aviation history, including Concorde. Spend days out exploring the history of Somerset in many historic houses such as Montacute, Barrington Court and Forde Abbey and Gardens, or take a scenic exhilarating walk to the top of the enchanting Glastonbury Tor.
