This is excellent walking country with a glorious landscape of heather clad moors and wind sculptured stones. Pony trekking locally. Cycle hire available 2 miles. Good fly fishing is available at Ladybower Reservoir 8 miles away. Within 4 miles are the village of Hope (with good shops and pubs) and Castleton with its Blue John Caverns Peveril Castle and bustling cafe's inns restaurants and craft shops.
