There is an abundance of walks through the woods, open countryside and along the Stour Valley and estuary. Enjoy a gentle row from Flatford Mill to Dedham or visit the nearby Roman town of Colchester with its zoo and castle. The peaceful Stour Estuary, Maningtree and Mistley are a 6-minute drive or visit London which is less than an hour away by train.
