Christchurch, with its 900 year old Priory, nestles between the New Forest and the vibrant town of Bournemouth on the Dorset coast. The area itself is one of the finest parts of the country and is renowned for its weather, beaches, coastal and woodland walks, historical sites of interest and fine food. You will be situated within easy reach of award winning beaches and the towns of Poole, Southampton and Salisbury. Take the ferry from Lymington (a pretty yachting town) across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, or visit the Channel Islands, or even France on a fast ferry from Poole or Weymouth. Enjoy fossil hunting along the Jurassic coastline (recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its stunning scenery or just relax on one of the quiet, picturesque beaches. Amongst the many attractions the area has to offer are the renowned Exbury and Compton Acre gardens, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Monkey World, Hurst and Corfe castles, Weymouth’s Deep Sea Adventure and Paultons Park (a family theme park) all of which can be enjoyed on a day’s excursion. The accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first floor 1 double with hand basin and a balcony with lovely views, 2 single bedrooms, one with a hand basin. On the second floor 1 further double with balcony, which is large enough for family dining, evening drinks or sun bathing. This bedroom has its own bathroom with WC and spa bath. Shower room: on the first floor with separate WC. Lounge: large room overlooking the pretty garden and nature reserve beyond. Kitchen/diner: situated on the ground floor, fully-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Dining table seating 6. Outside: the patio doors open onto a raised patio area with steps down to the well-planted, enclosed garden bordering Stanpit Marsh. Amenities: off-road parking for 3 cars. Close by are superb cliff top walks, National Trust properties with beautiful gardens and numerous attractions including Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu, Paulton's Park, Alice in Wonderland Family Park, and Christchurch Priory. Christchurch offers shops, restaurants, cinema and leisure facilities. In the evening you could BBQ in Seaways fully enclosed private garden with seating and summer house, or just stroll to the local pub. Seaways has FOUR bedrooms: 1 ground floor super-king-size or twin with en-suite shower room and WC and double doors opening straight onto the fully enclosed rear patio/garden. Upstairs is 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom: family size with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC off entrance hall. The lounge, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room are all on the ground floor. Lounge: with TV, DVD and Freeview, hi-fi with MP3 input and coal effect gas fire. Dining room: separate.
