Thatch has achieved the VisitBritain ‘4 Star’ Gold Award. One of a pair, built from stone and cob, and restored and equipped to a very high standard. The surrounding Devon countryside offers so much within easy reach. Nearby Exmoor and the Tarka Trail for walking and cycling, many superb beaches of the Golden Coast of North Devon for sandcastles and surfing, excellent local golf courses, fishing on the River Taw, NT properties and gardens, and numerous sleepy, unspoilt villages with inns.
