The area is well known for its sporting activities which include climbing, stalking, fishing, pony trekking, walking and cycling. For less strenuous activities, this is a popular spot for bird watching, photography and painting. This unique habitat of glens, lochs and Ancient Caledonian Pine Forests is home to many rare species including pine marten, otters, red squirrels, buzzards and the majestic golden eagle. The chalets are surrounded by safe grassed areas for playing and there is a barbecue area, childrens adventure playground and mountain bike hire. There is also a games room with pool table, table tennis, juke box and selection of books and games, internet and email facilities.
