Accommodation overview: West Mainland is the largest part of the largest island in Orkney and offers the visitor an unrivalled richness and diverse variety of attractions. The parish of Rendall lies on the north east side of West Mainland and at Tingwall, the harbour hosts a number of Orkney fishing boats as well as the ro-ro ferry to the islands of Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre.
