If you are tempted to join in, day hire for narrow boats is approximately 200 metres along the canal and electric boat hire is 4 miles away. All boats can be moored outside the property. Enjoy a walk or bike ride along the canal path to Bradford-on-Avon, Avoncliff aqueduct and Semington village. Why not try a spot of fishing from the patio at no extra cost. The Roman city of Bath, steeped in history with its new bath spas, shops, pubs, restaurants, theatre and other leisure activities is 10 miles away. Bradford-on-Avon (2 miles) has delightful shops and restaurants, historic inns and cafes that line the narrow streets. You will be easily accessible to explore other charming Cotswolds towns and villages, such as Laycock with its Abbey and gardens and the market towns of Devizes with the famous Caen Hill flight of locks and Chippenham. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: on the ground floor accommodation 1 twin with TV. Upstairs 1 double with TV and a separate dressing room approached via steep stairs that are enclosed with stair gates. The stairs are not recommended for children or babies but a cot can be put in the hallway outside the ground floor bedroom. Bathroom: with corner bath, shower attachment with screen to bath and WC. Lounge/diner: with canal views, TV, video, DVD, Freeview and French doors.
