Seaside resorts close by with plenty of seaside family entertaiment include Littlehampton, Worthing and Bognor Regis, or West Wittering is about half an hour’s drive. Chichester is also within easy reach, with its beautiful ornate cathedral and abundance of pedestrianised cobbled lanes with various shops, pubs, restaurants and popular Festival Theatre and famous Goodwood Races or Fontwell Racecourse. Other places of interest include The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, historic Arundel with castle, cathedral and various shops, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, ideal for bird-watchers.
