A quality conversion has transformed two traditional farm cottages into a modern home incorporating every convenience with bright rooms which are exceptionally spacious, well appointed, furnished and decorated to a high standard. There is a grassy front garden and the property may suit visitors with wheelchairs or walking difficulties.
Rogart is 3 miles to the west with a local shop and pub. 10 miles east is Dornoch, renowned for its miles of golden sands and championship golf courses, and the county town of Golspie where Dunrobin Castle, home of the Duke of Sutherland, must be visited. Activities include golf on a choice of courses, walking, climbing, cycling and the owners can arrange angling on the River Fleet. Quiet roads lead through the interior, virtually deserted since the Highland Clearances, to the remote villages of the north coast, all amidst magnificent scenery.

Accommodation overview: Originally a 19th Century School House, this detached cottage stands in a fairly isolated situation with wonderful views. Enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the birds and other wildlife and take in the spectacular scenery of this remote and beautiful area north west of Lochinver and the Inverpolly Nature Reserve. A 20 minute walk leads to a sandy beach.
The cottage is simply furnished cosy and quite old-fashioned and is popular due to its location and views.
All accommodation is on ground level. There is a garden area with two garden benches provided. Shops 9 miles.
