Accommodation overview: The Pennyghael Estate covers approx. 10,000 acres, stretching from the shores of Loch Scridain southwards to the sea cliffs at Carsaig, overlooking Jura, Islay and Colonsay, and westwards for 5 miles from Pennyghael village. There is abundant wildlife on this beautiful island and visitors may see otters, red deer, sea eagles and golden eagles. For hill-walking, Mull has endless opportunities and there are splendid coastal walks along rugged unspoilt shores. On the estate, loch fishing for brown trout is free and shooting in season can be arranged at an extra charge. Easy access to nearby lona for day visits on the ferry, or take a boat trip to see seals, whales and a wide variety of sea birds.

This lovely traditional detached farmhouse has a spectacular open outlook over Killunaig Reef, with its resident population of seals, to Loch Scridain and across to Ben More, the islands highest mountain and only Munro.
