The house was virtually rebuilt and the renovation has created a very comfortable, warm and well-appointed home, whilst retaining much character with pine-lined ceilings and a stone feature wall round the stove in the living room. Garden furniture and a barbecue are available and visitors are welcome to walk beyond the garden onto the hillside which rises behind the house. The conservatory is a real sun-trap and the ideal place from which to observe wildlife in the garden.
Unlimited scope for walking and bird-watching on the owner's 600 acres where there are several archaeological sites and free fishing on 6 lochs. Other activities in the area include golf, pony trekking and sailing. There are many places of interest to explore including the famous Loch Ness Monster Exhibition Centre, Urquhart Castle and pleasure cruises on Loch Ness. Shops, pub/hotel 2 miles.
