The cliffs to the north are home to a variety of sea birds and a nature reserve has been set up there. St Abbs is still an active fishing harbour and is also a diving centre. There are lovely coastal walks and plenty of places of interest to visit. This old fisherman's cottage has lovely views to the sea - smaller side windows face the harbour and the owner thoughtfully provides a telescope for visitors to watch all the quayside activities. The cottage is light, airy and comfortable, with much homely character and charm, ideal for a family holiday. At the front of the cottage, beside a path down to the harbour, there is a patio area with garden seat, a sun-trap for outdoor relaxing.
