Accommodation overview: This lower "quarter villa" is part of an historic 100 year old red sandstone building in the heart of the small village of Skelmorlie. Completely refurbished and redecorated, the villa is tastefully presented and offers a lovely compact holiday home for singles or couples. The little village of Skelmorlie is centrally located and guests have an excellent base here from which to explore the delights of North Ayrshire. Largs, the popular seaside resort is a short drive away with its many amenities and sandy beaches. Ferries enable visitors to 'island hop' from Millport, Rothesay, Isle of Bute and Dunoon. Glasgow city centre is 35 miles away and there are excellent rail links from Wemyss Bay, 1 mile. A nearby riding school offers lessons for adults and children, there is a sailing school in Largs and golf is ever popular with many excellent courses in the area. Hotel and shops in the village.
