The rooms are very bright and spacious with wonderful rural views from every window. The property is on 2 levels and there is a small courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for 3 vehicles. From here you can enjoy walking and cycling in the Galloway Forest Park, or fishing in the River Stinchar (permit required). Culzean Castle and Country Park is 30 minutes drive away as are several places of interest on the Burns Heritage Trail. Turnberry Golf Course is world famous and there is also other courses to choose from. Village shop 3/4 mile, main shopping in the seaside towns of Girvan or Ayr, where there is a race course with regular popular race meetings in season. Ground Floor: Living room with electric wood burner, dining room/kitchen, 1 twin bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate WC. Upper Floor: Second living room, 1 double with ensuite shower room, 1 twin, bathroom with bath and double shower cubicle. Cooking is by electricity, oil fired central heating. The cottages stand near farm buildings at the top of a small incline, 300 metres from the road, with safely enclosed gardens to the rear for which garden furniture is provided. The cottage interiors are bright and sunny, with simple furnishings in homely style, ideal for a relaxed family holiday.
