Loch Katrine is the main water supply for Glasgow and has a fascinating history. The famous Steamship Sir Walter Scott stops in at Stronachlachar in the summer months. This means you can enjoy a circular trip combining the steamship and a cycle ride on the private, surfaced road which runs past the steading.
