Tucked away down a private drive, this detached holiday cottage has been converted from what was originally believed to be an old brewery. Carefully restored, furnished and decorated throughout, it combines beautiful and mellow limestone flagged floors with carefully co-ordinated materials and furniture that make a warm and cosy atmosphere. Whitwell Cottage is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park - perfect for walkers with the Dales Way within 10 minutes and a dedicated footpath running virtually past the front door. Kendal with its wealth of individual shops, inns and restaurants is only 4 miles and Windermere, with its beautiful lake, is within a short drive. Shops 4 miles, pub 2 miles. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. Separate toilet. First floor: Open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove and well-equipped kitchen. Feature wood floor throughout first floor.
