This delightful cottage the middle one of three has been renovated to the highest standards using environmentally friendly materials and is set just a short stroll from the River Chet where lovely riverside walks can be enjoyed. The market town of Bungay and the medieval city of Norwich are both 10 miles. The Suffolk coast with sandy beaches at Southwold and Walberswick is just 15 miles. Boat hire locally. Shops and inns ½ mile.
Beamed throughout. Farmhouse style kitchen. Dining area step down to sitting room with wood burning stove in inglenook. Open tread stairs to first floor: Pretty double bedroom and single bedroom both with antique country furniture. Bathroom/W.C. (shower attachment).

"The cottage has a homely feel and we felt very welcome straight away. The village is lovely with two butcher’s tea room and fish monger minutes walk away. We met our neighbours who were all very friendly and the surroundings are soothing and relaxing including a walking route to a lake with bird watch facilities beginning at the bottom of our street! We can whole heartedly recommend Vale Cottage in Chedgrave to anyone in need of a break in the country."
