An ideal year round holiday base it sits in its own spacious grounds a short stroll from the pub and shop in the village of Marsham and just ½ mile from the sale rooms and market square in bustling Aylsham village.
Norfolk's lovely rolling countryside is dotted with picturesque villages farming hamlets and historic houses including the National Trust's Blickling Hall (2½ miles) and Felbrigg Hall. About 10 miles away visitors can hire boats for exploring the evocative reed lined waterways of the Norfolk Broads stopping perhaps at a welcoming waterside inn. Seaside Cromer's family attractions and sandy beach and the cathedral castle galleries museums and excellent shopping in the medieval city of Norwich are all within 10 miles.
