Standing detached, this Edwardian holiday property is surrounded by pretty enclosed gardens with sun house, within walking distance of the excellent sandy beach with its pier and promenade gardens. The town centre is just ½ mile distant with good shops, restaurants, cafes, inns and RNLI lifeboat museum. 18-hole golf course and club house and recreational park with children’s swings and slide a short walk. The house offers a spacious living room with separate sun room, dining room, kitchen and is comfortably furnished making it an ideal retreat for discerning larger families. Live entertainment is performed from the little theatre situated at the end of the pier throughout the summer season. Popular events include Carnival week in August and fireworks over the water on New Year’s Day. Many National Trust properties and places of historic interest within an easy drive; Blicking Hall with Jacobean splendour hosts open air concerts and events during the summer season. Famous Norfolk Broads and city of Norwich within an hour’s drive. Visit the neighbouring seaside town of Sheringham, 5 miles, for sandy beach, North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash Aqua pool, Sheringham Gardens, regular market days, shops, cafes and restaurants. Numerous bird sanctuaries, salt marshes and wildlife centres punctuate the region. Popular RSPB nature and bird reserves at Cley, Blakeney and Morston. Quiet lanes and country tracks provide cyclists with ample opportunity to explore the area. Appealing to children is Banham Zoo, Wroxham Barns and Craft Centre, Dinosaur Adventure Park, West Runton Shire Horse Centre.
