Dating back to the 1500s, this superb detached barn conversion has been lovingly renovated, boasting exposed beams, a hand-built kitchen and wood-burning stove. Accessed by a track, it is set on the owners’ working livestock farm (some 150 acres), lying close to the Peak National Park. Guests are free to roam amidst acres of woodland, with walks radiating from the doorstep. Close to the spa town of Buxton, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, there is also caving at Castleton.
