This grand spacious farmhouse offers versatile, detached holiday accommodation finished to a high standard. The large open-plan kitchen and dining area makes a great place for the whole family to gather, and at colder times of the year it benefits from the wood-burning stove. The main living room is just one of the many rooms which offers wonderful views over the surrounding farmland. The village of Tolpuddle is famed for the Tolpuddle Martyrs with a museum on the main street. The village also offers a pub which serves food. The county town of Dorchester lies 7 miles to the west with plenty of shops, restaurants and museums.
Walks and cycling abound directly from the house or the Jurassic Coast, which is 12 miles. A few miles away unique access is available via the owners’ farm which leads onto the Dorset coastal path (by prior arrangement with the owner) so a short or a long walk can be taken to the east to Lulworth and to the west to Ringstead Bay.
Monkey World (10 miles) makes a great family day out. The two RSPB reserves in Weymouth are Radipole Lake and Lodmoor, with Arne also available just outside Wareham. Shop 2 miles.
