A 16th century coaching inn and bakery 17th century washhouse and Victorian stables and hayloft have all been skilfully converted to create this superb little cluster of properties. Individually styled very comfortable and each boasting its own private patio area they nestle just 100 yards from inns and shops in the pretty market square in Aylsham a traditional Norfolk market town within easy reach of the myriad delights of the north Norfolk coast and Norfolk Broads. The popular seaside resort of Cromer famous for its end of pier show and fresh crab delicacies and the charming Georgian town of Holt with its coffee houses and interesting shops are both a short drive as are steam train trips from Sheringham and Blickling Hall a National Trust property and venue for numerous concerts (2 miles). Walkers will find access to the Weavers' Way long distance path just ½ mile from the cottages and a visit to Blakeney for boat trips to the local seal colony is a must whilst river boat trips are available in bustling Wroxham the 'capital of the Broads' (9 miles). A magnificent cathedral castle museum galleries cinemas theatres and great shopping are all found in the historic city of Norwich (11 miles).

"We had a fantastic holiday staying at Moonbeam Cottage. Moonbeam is an exceptionally furnished cottage with so much character - the pictures on the website really don't do Moonbeam full justice. We would recommend Moonbeam Cottage 100% - it's fantastic! Gate of India restaurant and takeaway in Aylsham is great and a visit to Holkham beach is well worth the drive - it's spectacular! For kids a visit to 'Bewilderwood' is a must - great fun for all! Mundesley beach is a very nice beach and we also enjoyed a visit to Sherringham. There is a lovely gift shop in Aylsham called Tumbleweed with very helpful and friendly staff and the Earle Arms pub is worth a visit - but check opening times before you set off! We are already planning our next visit to Over the Moon Cottages - maybe we'll stay in the Half Moon Inn next time!"
