A glass of wine can be enjoyed on the decked terrace whilst watching the lambs gambol, or trying to spot a deer. For flower lovers, the famous gardens at Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Batemans are worth a visit. Equidistant from Ashford is the Eurostar to Paris, and historic Canterbury. Just 15 minutes away is the Channel Tunnel, or the train can be taken for a trip to London from Wye, just 3 miles away. Excellent walking terrain, hot air ballooning locally. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile. Step to entrance.
