Where the majestic Cairngorms meet the gentle hills of Speyside, the Lochanhully Woodland Club nestles in a silver birch wood on a tributary of the River Spey - the ultimate in close-to-nature seclusion and privacy with high standards in home from home comfort. The spectacular surrounding area is home to the rare Osprey as well as a wide variety of more familiar Scottish wildlife to be seen on leisurely walks or more strenuous mountain expeditions. Skiing and winter sports at Aviemore in season, fishing and golf at other times of the year. Discounted green fees on the 18 hole Spey Valley Golf Course.
The cottages at Lochanhully are Scandinavian chalet style with a rustic feel - pine clad and pine finished throughout - double glazed and fully insulated for all year round comfort. Set amidst a large woodland area with ponds and ducks, the chalets are quite privately situated and are reached by paths through the woods. Parking for one car beside each chalet.
Lochanhully is an excellent choice for families, with activities for all ages, a daily programme of events and evening entertainment. The Kidz Club provides supervised daytime activities for 5-11 year olds.
FULL ACTIVITY PROGRAMME FOR ALL AGES.
Two or three nights of live music weekly in the Club House, including a Scottish night.
Indoor club facilities: heated swimming pool, sauna, solarium, Turkish steam room, a small gym, games room, restaurant, and bar with bar meals.
Outdoors: tennis court, adventure play area, trout fishing in season, archery, mountain bikes, trim trail and basketball.
Each well maintained compact chalet has a conservatory and sleeps up to 4/6 - 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 with bunk beds; living room with sofa bed, television and DVD/video, conservatory with dining table and fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bathroom with shower. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot available at an extra charge. Maximum of 4 adults recommended.
