The white sand of this popular beach attracts families and keen surfers. St Just is the nearest town and is just 3 miles away, while the fishing village of Mousehole is 6 miles with its small sandy beach area, pretty harbour, narrow twisting streets lined with excellent restaurants and pubs, or slightly further is St Ives, 12 miles.
Penzance is also worth a visit, with its wealth of amenities including museums, golf, tennis and horse riding, as well as day trips to the Isle of Scilly. St Michael’s Mount at Marazion is a further 3 miles from Penzance. There is easy access to spectacular walks in the surrounding countryside and the coastal path to Cape Cornwall in one direction and Land’s End in the other.
