"An excellent location for exploring the area. The cottage is above average in all ways. Best collection of games books and DVD/video at any cottage I've been to. The free membership of the country club is a great bonus when the weather lets you down. "

"We love Aviemore and have been several times before but this time we needed a cottage that would allow 'Blue' the great Dane to holiday with us. Hylands cottage was clean and comfortable with everything that you could need there for you - hand soap fluffy towels all sorts of kitchen utensils salt and pepper ice cube tray even a bottle of wine! The cottage is well loved by the owners you can tell by the presentation. The bed linen is smart the beds are comfy the views from the bedroom window are incredible and the bathroom is newly fitted with a deep relaxing bath. The Jacobite boat tours on Loch Ness allow dogs onboard! The nearby Loch Morlich has a clean dog friendly beach for hot dogs to cool down with a swim. The butchers in Aviemore has the best barbeque food and the cottage has a barbeque for you to use. Hylands Cottage goes to show that dog friendly cottages can be first class. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home for the week Blue loved her holiday - see you next year!"

"The cottage very comfortable and cosy with all mod cons. A nice modern kitchen making it easy if you want to cook in or if you wish to eat out there are several very good restaurants within an easy ten minute walk. TV coverage is reasonable and owner has kindly left many DVD's and games which make for a very enjoyable evening in. I would definitely wish to stay at Hylands Cottage again. "

"Hylands Cottage was the perfect home away from home. A beautiful location with lots to do and a very well stocked cottage with everything you'd ever need. I loved my stay there and can't wait to return!"

"We have stayed in many cottages and this was absolutely "THE BEST"! The cottage is well loved by the owners and this shows. The local information and booklets etc were second to none and the extensive library of books and DVD/Videos was a first for us at any cottage. Aviemore was an excellent base for our holiday having everything you could possibly need and being relatively central to everything we wanted to see. The Cairngorm National Park was amazing and we will be returning."
Mrs L, 08/06/2009 04:04 |

"A great cottage in a very quiet and picturesque location. The cottage is well equipped with everything you would ever need for a self catering holiday from the well equipped kitchen to the numerous board games videos and DVDs to keep you entertained. There are lots of good walks within the local area and we would especially recommend the walk to the Green Loch from Glenmore. We had a great time and will definitely return soon."
Mrs B, 08/04/2009 21:39 |

"The accommodation was a real home from home. It had everything you need and we felt extremely relaxed in the cottage. Lots to do around the local area. Views from the cottage of Cairngorms were stunning! Would recommend it to anyone but especially those with young families...two loos no stairs a garden and very quiet and peaceful. Can't praise it highly enough. "
