This lovingly restored detached Grade II listed cottage with Flemish gables lies close to the owners’ home at the top of a country lane, amid their 21-acre farm consisting of orchards. Many original features remain – and with wide doorways, ground floor bedroom and bathroom, wheelchair access is possible. The village of Preston-next-Wingham is a mile away and there are walks through the orchards to join the Saxon Shore Way. Canterbury is a 20-minute drive. Whitstable and Dover for trips to France are easily accessible. Golf locally. Sandwich, a 15-minute drive. Shop and pub 1 mile. Spacious living room with electric ‘coal-effect’ fire in original brick fireplace, Italian-tiled floor and door to garden. Well-equipped beamed kitchen/dining room with modern, fitted kitchen and Italian-tiled floor. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower, walk-in shower (wheelchair access) and toilet.
