Customer reviews
Feedback from customers about Drum-And-Monkey-Cottage-Chapel-en-le-Frith-Derbyshire includes:
"The Peak District was a lovely place to visit but we very quickly realized we would need much more than one week to see all the places we wanted to go and see so I am sure we will be back for more."

"We had a great time. The kids loved to swim in the pool everyday and the owner Mr Park was friendly welcoming and very helpful. The cottage was clean tidy and had enough kitchen facilities if you wanted to cook. There were lots of information in the cottage of what to see and do in the Peak District. There is a Morrison’s supermarket in town and a Tesco’s down the road within easy distance of the cottage and both had petrol stations too. We tried the two Italian restaurants in Chapel and both were really good also the Indian takeaway too. Just 5 minutes walk from the cottage was the Fallow Deer pub/restaurant similar to Harvester pubs good value and we could have a few drinks and not worry about driving. Alton Towers was only 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours drive and well worth a visit. The caves in Castleton are well worth a visit especially the boat one at speedwell. We went to Hayfield and took the short walk up Kinder Scout taking 2 hours fantastic scenery and worth the effort too. We also took in Warwick Castle on the way up and the Dungeons were good as well as the trebuchet display. Thank you very much for a lovely time!"
