Accommodation
Located in the lovely village of Hathersage, these two holiday cottages, Thornleigh (ref RCCT) adjoining the owner’s home and Dene Cottage (ref RCCS) sitting within the grounds, have been tastefully restored while retaining much of the original charm and character. The village of Hathersage boasts its own outdoor swimming pool, cafés, shops, bars and restaurants, nestling in beautiful countryside and ideally located for those days out. Sample the attractions such as Chatsworth House, Eyam Hall, Haddon Hall or relax and take the train from the village station which is very close by and visit Manchester or Sheffield for museums and galleries, shows or a film or stop off in Edale and walk the Pennine Way. Visit Castleton and and travel back in time, go on a guided tour, by boat, through the caves of this quaint and charming village. See where the beautiful Blue John Stone is mined and made into lovely jewellery. This area has so much to offer that guests will want to return. Shop and pub 1/4 mile.
