Coot Wood is ideal as a base for fishing and bird-watching, and lies only a mile from the heart of Wroxham, where boat, cycle and fishing equipment hire are all available. Wroxham offers a selection of shops and cafés, and just a short drive away are Wroxham Barns and the BeWILDderwood Adventure Park which offer good days out for families. Both children and adults will enjoy BeWILDerwood with its tree houses, zip wires, jungle bridges, boat trips and marsh walks. Wroxham Barns will appeal to all visitors of all ages and offers giftware, country foods, a rose and plant centre, junior farm, children’s funfair, as well as numerous craft studios and table service restaurant.The historic and beautiful city of Norwich is 9 miles away with its magnificent cathedral, castle, museums and theatre, as well as its famous market, shopping arcades and street cafes.
